This month our church, Manila Faith Assembly of God is celebrating its 60th Anniversary, it's senior citizen already hahaha. With our theme "Moving Together Towards Shared Vision"

Last Sunday June 3, was the opening celebration. It was really a blast, all participants were prepared to do their part. We started at 9am and ended by 12nn.
The opening number was performed by the iDance Ministry dancing in the tune of "Cover the Earth". This consist of those talented young people of the church. Followed by the invocation performed again by a young people from YM and Deaf ministry.
The Master of Ceremony were Bro. Fred Molina and Sis. Virgie Villanueva. They immediately call on Pastor Jess Tomagan for the opening remarks, it was indeed a very inspiring opening remarks, testifying how faithful our God is. After the opening remarks, the Praise and Worship team lead us to worship Bro Robert Agocejo and Sis Marilyn Villanueva as the song leaders.
Followed by the message which was delivered to us by Pastor Jess, topic was being the "Lighthouse in Tondo" which was really challenging for all of us to shine the light from the Lord. We are honored that some great men in the History were born here in Tondo, it only means that each one of us can also be like them, maybe not dying for the country but saving the country for the Lord. The sermon described the characteristics of a lighthouse and a challenge at the end to reflect the light that comes from the Lord, at the end of the sermon the congregation sang "Shine Jesus Shine"
Since it was the first Sunday of the month we had our communion, and while tithes and offering was collected, the singing group rendered a special number and we welcome the visitors that morning, some were from YWAM Australia.And ended by Pastor Jess benediction.
It was indeed a successful opening, and we are looking forward to more events this month. We hope you can join us as we celebrate the faithfulness of the Lord.
