My iButterfly Experience

Are you an iPhone or Android user? Do you love to get perks and freebies? Well then, I have a good news for you guys!!!

SM Supermalls launched their augmented reality games in selected SM malls nationwide. This game is compatible for iOS and Android platform only. And last May 5, they launched the augmented reality game called iButterfly at SM North EDSA. They have invited some celebrities like Raymond Guttierez, Liz and Laureen Uy, Elmo Magallona and his mom and other siblings and many more.

What is iButterfly?

iButterfly is a new, fun and entertaining mobile information and couponing platform that is now in the Philippines. Through the iButterfly application, you can catch virtual butterflies and get a chance to win amazing discounts and freebies! This gives you more reasons to enjoy your stay at SM Supermalls.

So how to play the game? It's so simple, follow the steps below:

1. DOWNLOAD. Download the iButterfly application from your smart phones or tablets.

For iOS go to http://itunes.apple.com/app/id514894083 

For Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ph.com.cherrypicks.iButterfly

2. CATCH. You should turn on your Internet connection or Wifi to use the iButterfly application. Turn on you Location Service as well then turn on the iButterfly applictaion. You will notice that at the bottom you can see "Map" button, you can use that to help you see where the butterflies are located. Then there's the "Catch" button, click that to start searching for butterflies. Butterflies will soon appear as you scan the area. Once you see a butterfly within the target area, the app will indicate "catch" catch the butterfly as if you are holding a net....but be careful not to drop your phone, hahahaha. Once you caught the butterfly it will be saved under your collections.

3. REDEEM. Each butterfly has a corresponding freebies and instruction on how you can redeem your prize. For more information on the complete list click HERE!

That's it! Catch as many butterfly as you can. Simple and exciting right!!!

During the launched me and my sister enjoyed catching butterflies, together with the other bloggers we are very alert when a butterfly is flying in fron of us.....we almost bump into each other just to catch the butterflies.

It was an awesome Saturday afternoon but I only managed to catch 2 butterflies from BDO....hahahah definitely I need to go back to SM Supermalls to catch more butterflies and enjoy more perks and freebies. There's a photowall of all the sponsors where you can take your photo during the event, those are the butterflies that you need to catch to get a prize.
